Clean Your Litter Box

Rabbits can use the litter box like cats can!!!
And you do have to clean it...

  1. To clean the litter box, I use:

  • vinegar
  • baking soda
  • garbage bag or compost
  • paper towel
  • water
There are many ways to clean the bunny toilet, and this is a blog on how I do things for ideas. So, this is another option really.

Things you can usually find around the house are:
  • all the things I use to clean the litter box
It's the reason why I do it this way since it requires very little money wasting and pain.

The scoop isn't necessary because even I don't have it. But if you do, that's fine!

2. How I clean the litter box:

  1. Dump all rubbish into either the garbage or compost
  2. Use 1 piece of paper towel and wipe down all the remaining litter that is stuck to the litter box. Make sure you took everything that was caked at the bottom of your litter box, has been removed. You may put that paper towel in the garbage.
  3. Sprinkle baking soda onto the bottom of the litter box. Cover anywhere that is particularly dirty.
  4. Pour in vinegar so that it covers the floor of the litter box. Only putting in amount that is necessary and diluting it with water to cover the rest of the space is ideal too.
  5. Wait until you are satisfied that the litter box stains are gone or clean enough.
  6. Rinse the vinegar smell off with water
  7. Dry the litter box with the paper towel or let the water evaporate on it's own if you are stingy ;)
  8. Fill the litter box with what every you normally stuff it in with

Is your litter box a little smelly?????
Have fun!

Please get these type of litter boxes!!!
